1. About the platform

Utaralah connects buyers and sellers. We are a venue only: we are not a party to any sale, rental, hire or booking made between users, and we do not hold payment, inspect goods or verify the accuracy of any listing.

2. Accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for the accuracy of your details, for keeping your login secure, and for everything posted from your account.

We may suspend or remove an account that breaches these terms, posts prohibited content, or is used for fraud or spam.

3. Listings and limits

A free account may keep one active listing at a time with up to five photos. A Pro account may keep up to 100 active listings with up to 15 photos each plus one supporting document per listing.

Listings must be genuine, located in the northern region we serve, placed in the correct category, and described honestly, including defects.

4. Prohibited items and conduct

The following may not be listed or promoted on Utaralah:

• Weapons, explosives, drugs, vapes for minors, or any item illegal in Malaysia
• Counterfeit goods, stolen property, or items you do not own or have the right to sell
• Money games, investment schemes, loan sharking (ah long) or get-rich-quick offers
• Adult services, human trafficking, or any offer that endangers a person
• Protected wildlife, unlicensed medicines, and unregistered supplements
• Duplicate listings, misleading prices, keyword spam, or contact details in photos

5. Contact through WhatsApp

Utaralah has no internal chat. When you publish a listing, the WhatsApp number you provide becomes visible to buyers through the chat button. Do not post a number you are not authorised to use.

6. Pro subscription

Pro is billed at RM79 per month or RM780 per year through our payment processor. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancelling stops future renewals; your Pro features remain until the end of the paid period. Prices may change with 30 days' notice.

7. Advertising

Sponsored placements are marked as advertisements. We may refuse or remove any advertisement, and we are not responsible for goods or services offered by advertisers.

8. Content you post

You keep ownership of your photos and text, and you grant Zoomix Sdn Bhd a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display, resize and promote that content on Utaralah and its social channels while the listing is live.

9. Safety and liability

Meet in public places, inspect goods before paying, and never send a deposit for an item you have not seen. To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Zoomix Sdn Bhd is not liable for loss, damage, injury or dispute arising from any transaction between users, and the site is provided on an 'as is' basis.

10. Changes and governing law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version, and continued use means acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.
